Enchi, (WN/R) Dec. 4, GNA – Asee Group of Companies has purchased 20 brand new tyres for the Aowin Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) in the Western North Region.
The items valued GH¢70,000 would be distributed among, the District Police Command, the Formed Police Unit, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Revenue Authority (Customs Division), National Investigation Bureau, National Ambulance Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Armed Forces and the Aowin Municipal Assembly.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony, which took place at the forecourt of the Municipal Assembly, Mr Francis Boateng, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Asee Group of Companies said, the goodwill formed part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility commitment that focused on security support in its operational area.
He said “Align with Asee’s core value of safety, the company’s attention was drawn to the severe wear and tear of the vehicular tyres of the security agencies especially the Ghana National Ambulance Service.
Additionally, Mr Boateng presented a cash of GH¢5,000 each to the Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Armed Forces to enable them to purchase their own tyres as they have their specifications.
Mr Samuel Adu Gyamfi, the Chairman of MUSEC, who received the items on behalf of the security agencies, expressed his appreciation to the Asee Group of Companies, and said the generosity was timely as the various agencies prepared for the 2024 elections.
