Accra, Dec. 1, GNA – Hottest Ghanaian music sensation, King Paluta, has won three accolades at the 2024 Taabea Ghana Music Awards (GMA) UK.
The “Makoma” hitmaker was adjudged New Artiste of the Year and won the Hiplife Song of the Year (Yahitte) and Best Highlife Song of the Year (Aseda).
He beat the likes of OlivetheBoy, Estelle Safowaa, and Oseikrom Sikanii to claim the coveted New Artiste of the Year crown.
King Paluta was crowned New Artiste of the Year for the third time, having previously won the category at the 2024 Ghana Music Awards and the Ghana Music Awards Europe.
Afro-Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, earned the night’s highest prize, Artiste of the Year at the 2024 GMA UK.
Stonebwoy maintained his domination throughout the year of review and was named Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year.
Other major awards on the night included King Promise’s Terminator song, which won Most Popular Song of the Year, and Kuami Eugene, who won Highlife Artiste of the Year.
Mr Drew, Epixode, King Ayisoba, Ofori Amponsah, Kofi Nti, and Esther Smith, among others, delivered outstanding performances at the awards event held at London’s Meridian Grand.
