Kwesimintsim (W/R), Nov. 20, GNA – Mr Fiifi Buckman, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Kwesimintsim, has asked the United Cadres Front of the party to be guided by the spirit of patriotism, nationalism and selflessness in their campaign for a resounding victory in the Election 2024.

He said this was the spirit that characterised the 1979 revolution, adding that with discipline, cadres were able to secure electoral victory for the NDC during the time of Jerry John Rawlings.

Mr Buckman, who is a legal practitioner, was addressing the Kwesimintsim chapter of the United Cadres Front at a conference to inaugurate the Young Cadres Front of the party in Takoradi.

The conference was on the theme, “Forging Ahead in Unity Towards Victory 2024 And Beyond”.

Mr Buckman asked the Young Cadres Front to intensify their door-to-door, house-to-house, market and church campaign towards a resounding victory for the NDC.

He reminded the Cadres Front to bring back the spirit of communalism and volunteerism as the party clinched victory to move the country forward.

Mr Sam Donkor, a National Executive Member of the United Cadres Front, urged members to redouble their efforts to recapture the seat and advised its membership against complacency.

Madam Beatrice Sam, the Western Regional Chairperson of the United Cadres Front, urged the young Cadres to be more vibrant in their campaign strategy for a resounding victory.

She stated that every single vote which belonged to the NDC in the past, must be won through reconciliation and diplomacy.

She reminded the young Cadres of their devotion to the cause of the party devoid of monetary considerations.

Mr Ali Donkor the Regional Organiser of United Cadres Front, advised NDC party members not to allow complacency to set in, appealing to them to be of good behaviour in order to attract more ‘souls’ into the party.
