Takoradi, Nov 12, GNA – Mr. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the Western Regional Minister has called on the Ghanaian voter to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government that had performed creditable in the last decade.

He said, the NPP government, had invested in real and tangible developmental projects and must be given the chance in the upcoming elections to continue with those projects under various stages of completion.

Mr. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah told the Ghana News Agency in an interview that the NPP government had invested so much in performance as witnessed in the many projects currently ongoing in the region in particular…”we can only show genuine appreciation by pushing the NPP into power come December 7″.

He said, changing government could pose a greater risk to the successful completion of the projects because successive governments over the years had hailed projects abolition and abandonment by previous governments particularly if not of the same Party.

In the Western Region, key projects included the rehabilitation of the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital, construction of a three-tier interchange in Takoradi, the resurfacing of the Tarkwa-Takoradi road, and the redevelopment of the Takoradi Market which are in advanced stages of completion.
