The deplorable nature of your road network should tell you to reject NPP – Asiedu Nketia

Amoakokrom (Ash), Nov. 6, GNA – Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, National Chairperson of the NDC, has asked the people of Amoakokrom in the Ahafo-Ano South East district, to take a deep look at the deplorable nature of their road network and decide on what to do on December 07.

He said the bad nature of roads linking communities in the area was a testament to the neglect of those communities by the NPP government, which they had been voting for over the years.

Addressing the people in the community as part of his three-day retail campaign tour of the Ashanti region, he said it was time the people voted against the NPP in the coming elections.

Mr Asiedu Nketia said the next NDC government would work to continue its rural infrastructure development agenda, which included road construction, to help open the area and improve the living conditions of the people.

He said Ashanti region had great potentials, which could be utilized to speed up the country’s socio-economic development.

It was, therefore, important for the people to give the NDC a chance to lead the country to support the people to unearth all this potential to improve their living conditions.

Mr Asiedu Nketia urged the people to prioritize development over short-term gains which were being offered by the NPP in the run-up to the polls.

He stressed the importance of voting out the NPP to ensure genuine development in the communities that had long been neglected.

He said it was important for the residents to demand projects that would truly impact their lives and improve their well-being.

Mr. Nkesia reiterated the NDC’s commitment to abolishing the double-track system and other ineffective policies in the educational sector introduced by the NPP.

Mr Asiedu Nketia, who introduced the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the area, Mr. Yakubu Mohammed, to the people urged them to support and vote for him to break the 28-year rule of the NPP in the constituency.

Mr Asiedu Nketia also visited Kwasisiasi, Anentemfi, Domeabra, Nhwerewam, and Nemasua, where he listened to the concerns of the people in the communities and assured them of the next NDC government’s support to improve their living conditions.
