Accra, Nov 23, GNA – The police has rescued Madam Sylvia Patience Baah, the Airport Services Manager of Emirates Airlines, who was kidnapped in Accra last Friday.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Ghana Police Service confirmed that Madam Baah had been reunited with her family.
“The police are currently continuing the search for the suspects behind this incident and want to assure the public that we will bring them to justice,” the statement said.
Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), has spoken with the victim and her family.
Additionally, a team of police medical officers and clinical psychologists has been assigned to support the family, the statement added.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who provided information during the rescue operation…” it said.
