Ho, Nov. 23, GNA – Thousands have taken to the streets of the Volta Regional Capital, Ho, for a health walk to garner support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate, Edem Kofi Kpotosu.
The huge crowd challenged traffic management in the city for the two hours it dragged along, from the Ho Sports stadium to the Dome Basic School Park.
Among Party leaders leading the walk were some Members of Parliament (MPs) in the Region, Party executives and Parliamentary aspirants.
The Volta Region is the known stronghold of the NDC, hence the Party’s t-shirts painted the crowd in their colours, with women carrying party umbrellas as the symbol of the NDC.
The Police and the Ambulance Services accompanied the crowd to guide traffic and ensure safety as the procession headed to the school park where they were addressed by party.
