The kits including sewing machines, hair dryers and devices, formed part of efforts to create jobs and reduce the unemployment rate in the area.

Speaking to the media after the presentation at Gomoa Ekwamkrom in the Central region, the MP said her utmost priority was to ensure that the youth were engaged in productive self-employment to help create wealth to reduce economic hardship.

The MP said she started giving out sewing machines, hair dryers and many others to motivate the young ladies who were prepared to learn trades as far back as 2016 till date, as part of her contributions to groom young women in entrepreneurship.

She said some of them, had completed their training, but needed the financial push to establish their own shops, hence the presentation to enable them to become financially independent.

The MP, who is also the Deputy Interior Minister, renewed her appeal to the people of Gomoa Central, the whole Central region and all Ghanaians to vote for Dr Bawumia and her candidature to continue the good policies and programmes.

She said if Ghanaians failed to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December polls, many ongoing massive roads and other infrastructural projects would stall.

She assured Ghanaians that if given the nod to Dr Bawumia to become the next President, he would work to make the nation a better place for all to live.

The MP appealed to the women, especially single mothers and widows, to cast their ballots for the NPP in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections to secure the free SHS educational policy.

Mrs Quansah urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the start-up kits given to them to enjoy better lives with their families and others in their various communities.

The beneficiaries expressed gratitude and appreciation to the MP and pledged to support her and Dr Bawumia’s candidature to win the elections for the NPP to continue their good works to help alleviate the sufferings of Ghanaians.
