Family head of Nkroful appeals to Nzemas  to push Kofi Buah to highest office of Ghana

Nkroful (W/R), Nov. 24, GNA – The Abusuakpanyinli of Nkroful, Nana Senza Erza, has appealed to the elders and people of Nkroful  in the Ellembelle Constituency to support the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah to the highest office of Ghana in the future. 

He said the Ellembelle MP had demonstrated the zeal to steer affairs of Ghana, considering his knowledge, integrity and service to Ellembelle, the entire Nzema area and Ghana at large. 

Nana Senza Erza made the appeal when the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah paid a courtesy call on the Chief, elders and people at the Chief’s palace at Nkroful in the Western Region. 

The visit formed part of his campaign to canvass for votes in the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections. 

The Abusuakpanyinli, who spoke on behalf of the Chief of Nkroful, Nana Kwasi Kutua V, reminded the people of the various interventions undertaken by Mr Kofi Buah in the Nkroful township and the Constituency as a whole. 

He said Mr Kofi Buah had contributed in diverse ways to the celebration of the Kwame Nkrumah festival (NkrumahFest) dubbed, “Journey to Nkroful” since he assumed office as MP in 2009. 

The Abusuakpanyin, particularly lauded the MP for spending huge amount of money to organize the 2024 celebration of NkrumahFest dubbed “Journey to Nkroful,“ which attracted a huge crowd from all walks of life, including former President John Dramani Mahama to Nkroful. 

He assured the MP that the Chief, elders and people of Nkroful would continue to support him in prayers to ascend the Presidency in future and continue the good works of Dr Kwame Nkrumah, to rekindle the light of Ghana towards economic emancipation. 

Mr Kofi Buah  reiterated his dream about Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah and the development of Nzema, which pushed him to lead the chiefs and people of  Ellembelle. 

He outlined his socio-economic interventions which had brought industries and companies such as Ghana National Gas, ENi  Ghana, Quantum LPG to make Ellembelle one of the fastest growing Districts in Ghana. 

He said it was the NDC government under former President Jerry John Rawlings, who spearheaded the development of the Nzema area with good roads, rural electrification project and potable water. 

Mr Kofi Buah asked the Chief, elders and people of Nkroful to support the NDC because it was more committed to the development of the town and the Ellembelle Constituency at large. 

Former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle, Mr Daniel K. Eshun touted the unparalleled achievements of the NDC government in the development of Nkroful township. 

He mentioned the 31st December Women Movement Day Care School, an asphaltic overlay, electricity, roads, District Magistrate Court, bungalows for the Magistrate and Divisional Police Commander. 

The rest are fire service station and a fire tender, an  ICT centre, classroom blocks, the Yinson Hall, donation of a bus and pick-up van to NASS as some of the projects the NDC government brought to Nkroful. 

Mr Eshun said the NDC government would continue to bring more development to the area.
