Buy enough credit to last a month now – ECG urges customers

Accra, Nov 23, GNA – The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Limited, has urged its customers using the Nuri Prepayment Meters to top up for one month ahead of a system upgrade.

The ECG in a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency said as part of the Standard Transfer Specifications (STS) protocol, it had become urgent to upgrade all STS metering systems, including the NURI Prepayment system.

“Please buy enough top-up credit that will last for at least one month in order not to experience vending disruptions that might arise out of the on-going Nuri meter upgrading exercise,” it stated.
