Dodi-Papase (O/R), Nov 11, GNA-Ms. Mary Yawa Aforla, the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Akan Constituency, has launched her campaign with the promise of providing quality healthcare and women empowerment.
She said she would “increase the availability of medical supplies and support health education initiatives to promote preventative care”.
Ms. Aforla said “women are the backbone of our communities. I am dedicated to promoting gender equality, ensuring access to education, healthcare and supporting women-led businesses to foster economic independence”.
Ms. Aforla said this during her campaign launch at Dodi-Papase in the Kadjebi District of the Oti Region.
On education, she said, she would push for the improvement of school facilities and provide scholarships for deserving students and resource teachers for effective teaching and learning.
On Road Infrastructure, she said “Good roads are essential for our daily lives and economic activities, so she would persistently lobby to secure funding and partnerships for fixing and maintaining our roads, ensuring safer and more efficient transportation for all.
“Together, we can overcome these challenges and build a prosperous, inclusive and vibrant Akan Constituency”, she added.
Ms. Tracy Semanu Tegbey, LPG PC for Afadzato South, speaking at the launch, asked the electorate to vote for Ms. Aforla as capable Member of Parliament (MP).
She said women were equally capable and that without women, men could not succeed.
Mr. Chris Emmanuel Tegbey, Volta Regional Communications Director of LPG, said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) were the causes of Ghana’s woes, so Ghanaians should ignore them and vote the LPG to govern the country.
