Takoradi, Nov. 10, GNA – The Ahantaman Rural Bank PLC, has organised a symposium to solicit inputs from its customers to boost business growth.
The symposium, which formed part of activities earmarked for the Bank’s 40th anniversary, brought customers from the length and breath of its operational areas to put together ideas that would ensure that the years ahead of the Bank became more progressive and met the needs of its customers in a more efficient manner.
Mr. Isaac Afful-Eshun, the CEO of the Bank at the symposium, said it was a real opportunity to listen to the concerns, needs and challenges of customers to enable the Bank derive strategic pillars for growth, profitability and impact.
He assured the customers of the bank’s commitment to secured banking solutions and called for more savings culture among Ghanaians.
Mr. Eric Danning, Board Chairperson, said the last 40 years had positively impacted the lives of stakeholders and communities.
He paid glowing tributes to founding fathers of the Bank, particularly Mr. Kojo Thompson for the yeoman role in getting the Ahantaman a worthy Bank.
The Board Chair said from a single branch in 1984, the Bank could not boost of 23 new branches.
Ms. Elizabeth Obeng, a Chairperson for the symposium, said shared prosperity continued to drive the bank to be innovative.
Reverend Prosper Asamoah, of the Sanctuary Montessori who represented the customers, noted how the massive injection of capital had transformed the fortunes of the school for the better.
He praised management and staff for their topnotch quality services.
The participants in an opinion forum wished that digital services were more enhanced.
