Accra, Nov. 14, GNA – Ghana’s Black Stars have arrived safely in Luanda to prepare for their penultimate game of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola’s Palancas Negras.
The Black Stars would be looking to avoid a second consecutive loss to Angola when they meet at the Estádio 11 de Novembro on Friday, November 15, 2024.
Despite previous withdrawals, Otto Addo made some late calls and now has his entire team in camp as they prepare for the match.
The Black Stars, who are third in Group F with two points, must win against Angola and hope Niger defeats Sudan in the other qualifying match to have a chance of qualifying.
With Angola already booking qualification, Sudan, who are in second place with seven points, remain firm favourites to grab the second qualification spot.
The Black Stars team led by captain Jordan Ayew would hold their official training at Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda on Thursday, November 14 at 8 p.m. (local time).
Prior to their departure to Luanda, the Black Stars visited the Dzorwulu Special School in Accra, where they donated some items, including food items and drinks.
