Krachi East MCE shows compassion to widows and visually impaired

Asukawkaw (O/R) Oct. 3, GNA-The Krachi East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Mr Charles Gyamfi Boateng, has provided essential items to widows and visually impaired individuals in Asukawkaw, a suburb of Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region. 

The food and household essential items included rice, tomatoes, oils, toilet rolls, and mackerel. 

 “As the MCE, it is my responsibility to ensure the well-being of all residents, especially the vulnerable, ” he said.  

The MCE again assured the residents of Asukawkaw that the Municipality will install lights at strategic vantage points to enhance security, added that security is Paramount and proper lighting will help reduce crime and ensure residents’ safety, especially at night. 

He again pledged to expand the community’s health facility to improve healthcare delivery in the area, speaking during the presentation, he explained that quality healthcare is a fundamental right, and he was committed to upgrading the health facility to meet the growing needs of the residents. 

 Mr Boateng urged the vulnerable to unite behind Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the parliamentary candidate (PC) Mr, Michael Yaw Gyato, ensuring a resounding victory for the NPP in the upcoming elections. 

His campaign focuses on showcasing Dr Bawumia’s achievements as Vice president and his plans for Ghana’s future. 

The campaign has generated excitement among the vulnerable and other residents in the community, with many expressing optimism about the municipality’s future under Dr Bawumia’s leadership.
