Tel Aviv, Oct 26, (dpa/GNA) – Israel’s retaliatory attacks on Iran are now over, the army announced on Saturday in a post on Telegram.
“I can now confirm that we have concluded the Israeli response to Iran’s attacks against Israel,” army spokesman Daniel Hagari wrote.
“The Israel Defense Forces has fulfilled its mission,” he added.
Hagari said the IDF conducted “targeted and precise strikes on military targets,” which he said are thwarting Iran’s immediate threat to Israel.
The Israeli action lasted about four hours, starting in the early hours of Saturday and concluding before sunrise in Tehran.
