Ahamansu (O/R), Oct 29-GNA-Nana Odeifuor Frimpong Ware III, Paramount Chief of Ampeyo Traditional Area in the Kadjebi District, has lauded the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for the significant development projects in the district.

He named the Kadjebi Agenda 111 Hospital project, the construction of 56.5 kilometre asphalted Eastern Corridor Road from Jasikan via Kadjebi to Dodo-Pepesu, NHIS Regional Office at Kadjebi, boys’ and girls’ dormitory for the Kadjebi-Asato Senior High School (KASEC), among others.

Nana Ware said this during an engagement with the Chiefs and Wuros by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice-President and the NPP Flagbearer at Ahamansu, a farming community in the Kadjebi District of the Oti Region.

He, however, appealed to the government to upgrade the Ahamansu Islamic Senior High School (AHISEC).

Wuro Awal, the Wuro of Mempeasem Zongo, commended Dr Bawumia for conducting his campaign devoid of insults and religious sentiments.

He said this singular act has changed his mindset about the NPP.

Dr. Bawumia in response, said, God knows why he should come at this time and that under his leadership more jobs and infrastructure projects would be carried out.

He said one million jobs would be created for the youth under the proposed digitalisation programme.
