Accra, Oct 9, GNA- The Paramount Chief of Wenchi Traditional Area in the Bono Region, Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoanpong Tabrako III, has given a heartfelt endorsement to Alan Kyerematen, leader and presidential candidate of the Movement for Change and Alliance for Revolutionary Change.
He has therefore described it as a divine intervention, and believes it would be a turning point for Ghana and for Alan himself.
“God has a purpose for whatever happens in one’s life,” the chief remarked as Alan’s ‘Caravan Campaign Tour’ team visited his palace.
“I believe Alan parting ways with the NPP to contest as an independent candidate is God’s way of lifting him up,” he continued”.
His words were filled with conviction as he appealed to Alan to remember Wenchi when he becomes president. Known for its rich agricultural heritage, particularly in cashew production, the chief urged for the establishment of a cashew processing plant to create jobs for the youth and stimulate the local economy.
Alan Kyerematen, the chief noted, is not just a politician but a visionary leader with the capacity to transform the nation’s fortunes.
Drawing from Alan’s vast experience under former President Kufuor and President Akufo-Addo, Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoanpong Tabrako III emphasized that his industrial drive is the key to revitalizing Ghana.
“From his time in South Africa when Mandela became president, to his tenure as Trade Minister, Alan’s achievements and his vision for industrialization stand unmatched.”
“What Alan has gone through reminds me of Joseph’s trials,” the elder said softly. “He has a good heart, and just like Joseph, God will lift him high, just as the Omanhene has said.”
The gathering was marked by a sense of hope and belief in Alan’s potential.
Nana Ohene-Ntow, Senior Advisor and Director of Election Planning and Coordination for the Movement for Change, added his voice to the sentiments. “The 2024 election is a three-horse race between Alan, Dr. Bawumia, and Mr. Mahama, but Alan stands tall among them,” he declared. His words drew applause from the people, reinforcing the growing momentum behind Alan’s candidacy.
Nana Ohene-Ntow thanked the Wenchi Manhene for his kind words and blessings, expressing how much they meant to the team. “Your words have strengthened us. We will carry them with us and relay them to Alan,” he said.
The Paramount Chief’s endorsement had not only given the campaign a boost but had also touched the hearts of the people, leaving them with a renewed belief that Alan Kyerematen’s journey was guided by a higher power.
