Nkwanta South NCCE Director urges political parties to put Ghana first in 2024 elections

Nkwanta (O/R), Sept 4, GNA-Mr. John Tadare, the Nkwanta South Municipal Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), has called on all political parties to consider Ghana first in all activities ahead of the 2024 elections. 

Mr. Tadare, speaking during an Inter-Party Dialogue Committee (IPDC) meeting, said it was the mandate of the Commission to prepare citizens for the upcoming general elections.  

The Inter-Party Dialogue Committee membership is renewed every election year due to the change of executives of the political parties.  

He said the meeting focused on promoting peace and resolving conflicts before, during and after the elections to enhance political, economic, and social progression and stability. 

The meeting was attended by representatives from the electoral commission, political parties, youth leaders, security agencies, civil society Organisations, traditional authorities, and community leaders.  

The parties present pledged their commitment to work together to ensure free and fair elections.
