Ho Sisters’ Association launches fifth anniversary

Ho, Sept 3, GNA- The Ho Sisters Association, an all-female group, has launched its fifth-anniversary celebration. 

The launch was also used to raise funds. 

The association was formed five years ago with the aim of enhancing the welfare of members and extending charity to the vulnerable in society by supporting them with life-changing items. 

The celebration is on the theme: “Celebrating five years of philanthropy: Ray of Hope for the Future.” 

Mr. Victor Adonu, Advisor of the Association, congratulated the Association for chalking five years with perfection. 

He said the occasion called for stocktaking of the previous years so that the Association could smoothen the rough edges to improve in the future. 

Mr Adonu said the anniversaries led to strengthening relationships among members with God’s love, charity, service, honesty and inner joy. 

Mrs. Nancy Kudzinya, President of the Association said they would be supporting Ho Polyclinic and the New Horizon E.P Education Centre with some items as part of the anniversary celebration. 

Madam Anita Abla Enyonam Sankumah, Founder and General Secretary of the Association, told Ghana News Agency that the Ho Polyclinic and the New Horizon E.P Educational Centre were selected for support based on a survey conducted. 

She said the Association would be supplying items, including chairs, incubators, drip stands and bedsheets to the polyclinic. 

The New Horizon E.P Educational Centre would be provided with food items to put a smile on the faces of the students at the Centre. 

Mama Attrato II, Queenmother of Ho-Dome, who chaired the event commended the group for their charitable activities since its inception. 

She urged the women to be faithful in all their undertakings and to continue to strengthen each other.
