Hannah Asamoah submits nomination forms to contest Agona East Parliamentary seat

By James Esuon

Nsaba (C/R), Sept. 12, GNA – Mrs Hannah Asamoah, the Agona East Parliamentary Aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has submitted her nomination forms to contest the seat on December 7.

Addressing the media, after the submission, Mrs Asamoah expressed the hope that the people of Agona East would vote for an aspirant who could be creative in lobbying for jobs, infrastructure, and human development for them.

According to Mrs Asamoah, it was only the NPP government, which had the capacity and ability to create an enabling environment for the people to enjoy a quality life.

The Parliamentary Candidate disclosed that development in Agona East had been stagnated because it lacked a visionary, innovative and lobbyist representative in Parliament and called on the electorates to vote for her and Dr Bawumia on December 7.

She said some communities in the constituency were still grappling with the provision of electricity and other social amenities and gave the assurance that everything possible would be done within her capability to hook their communities to the national grid.

Mrs Asamoah asked the people in the Agona East to vote on performance and facts, not mere slogans or personality, adding that she was not yet the MP, but she had been able to provide over 180 jobs to the youth.

She called on the supporters of the party to intensify their campaign to preach about the prudent measures being put in place to inure to their benefits.

The PC said her campaign team would take the messages to churches, markets, mosques, lorry stations, and other social gatherings to preach the good gospel about the NPP government and the reasons people should vote to maintain it in power.

She therefore called on the good people of Agona East Constituency to ignore propaganda messages and other vain promises being given by the opposition NDC in their quest to solicit their votes.

According to Mrs Asamoah, the alternative some Ghanaians were yearning for was very scary because the opposition NDC had nothing to offer the good of Ghana and urged them to vote for NPP to continue rolling out new social interventions to help improve their lives.

The PC appealed to women in the constituency, especially single parents to rise and rally support for her candidature and Dr Bawumia to enable them to win the elections to continue the free SHS educational policy to lessen their financial burden.
