Agbedor-Kofe (V/R), Sept 3, GNA – Reverend Fr. Dr. Cletus Kwame Forson, a New York based Ghanaian priest, has urged the eligible voters to vote with conscience during the December 7, 2024, polls.

“Don’t be enticed to vote against your conscience,” he advised.

Rev. Fr. Dr. Forson gave this advice at the commissioning of a mechanised water system at Agbedor-Kofe, a farming community in the Gortimer -Zippe District of the Volta Region.

The Catholic priest called for peace before, during and after the polls.

He said the use of inflammatory statements, provocative acts, insults, personal attacks, among other acts should be avoided to maintain the prevailing peace in the country.

He also called on the citizenry to take keen interest in the country’s development and participate fully in the processes at all levels.

Rev. Fr. Dr. Forson, also a trustee of International Help of Missionaries, a New York based foundation, said everyone, especially those at the helm of affairs needed to contribute to the country’s progress as development was a shared responsibility.
