P-A Capital School holds eight graduation ceremony

Abesim (B/R), Aug. 30, GNA – P-A Capital School at Abesim, near Sunyani, has held its 8th graduation with a call on the Ghana Education Service (GES), to strengthen its collaboration with private schools, to provide quality education for all children. 

Mrs. Patricia Peprah-Agyemang, Chief Executive Officer of the school who made the call indicated that current global technological advancements, required the nation to produce critical thinking scholars, who could stand the test of time, and make the nation relevant in development. 

She said this was why there was the urgent need for the GES to make room for private educational institutions, when it comes to promulgation and implementation of government policies on education. 

Mrs Peprah-Agyemang stated that children in both public and private schools needed a brighter future for themselves and the nation as a whole. 

She commended the graduands for their resilience for their achievement and encouraged them to perform same at the next level by thinking freely to be innovative and responsible citizens in future, to serve the nation to the best of their abilities. 

“Continue to uphold and demonstrate the virtues of hard work and excellence in your next level of life, and make a positive impact on society,” she advised. 

In all 95 pupils graduated from kindergarten ‘2’ to Primary ‘1’, while 59 Junior High School ‘3’ students passed out to enter Senior High School in the next academic year. 

Prizes were awarded to deserving students and staff, who distinguished themselves in various fields of the school’s curricular activities, while all the graduands received certificates of merit.
