Accra, Aug. 22, GNA – Nestle Ghana Limited has rewarded its trade partners for being loyal to the brand in retail and wholesale business at the 2024 Nestle Loyalty Engagement programme.
The programme in Accra was the second and final edition in Accra for this year’s loyalty engagement.
Cash prizes ranging from GHS50, 000.00 to GHS800.00 and Nestle products were given to the winners.
Mr Jacob Odoi, National Sales Manager, Coastal Cluster (Ghana, Sierra Leone &Liberia), Nestle, said Nestle kept investing in its trade partners’ businesses to encourage their retailers and sub wholesalers to stay in the “game” and not drop out because of the current economic hardship.
“So we encourage them to stay in the game, but we will keep investing in them, we will keep having sustained relations with them and at the end of the day, give them some other rewards as well.
“We are elated because we have been able to put a smile on their faces,” he said.
Mr Odoi said the Loyalty Engagement programme started in the Eastern and Volta Regions with more than 300 retailers and wholesalers receiving rewards for their loyalty to the brand.
“Here in Accra, this is the second and final edition. We had one already in some parts of Accra and we will be moving to the Western and Central Region on August 28 to 30 to give our retailers and sub-wholesalers what they deserve. However, the final part of the 2024 Nestle Loyalty Engagement will be in the Ashanti Region,” he explained.
To them, he said the important thing was to build stronger relations with their retailers and sub-wholesalers for the future to reward them in a grand and appropriate way.
Mr James Afful, Business Manager Distributor and Co, a wholesale company at Teshie, whose company emerged the best sales company, expressed their excitement at the show of gratitude by Nestle Ghana Limited and pledged to work harder to win again next year.
“We have come a long way as the ultimate winner and we will continue to do what we do best. We are going to re-invest the prize in our business to make sure that next year we win again,” he said.
