Let us vote Dr. Bawumia as President for Ghana’s rapid development — NPP Chairman

Kadjebi (O/R), Aug 26, GNA – Mr. Evans Yaw Dapaah, the Oti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has appealed to electorate to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the President for Ghana’s rapid development. 

He said comparatively the Nana Addo-Bawumia-led government had brought more development to the country than any other government. 

Mr. Dapaah said this during the introduction of DSP Daniel Machator (Rtd), the Oti Regional Minister to the Chiefs of Kadjebi in the Oti Region. 

He said the introduction of Free Senior High School policy by President Nana Addo Dankwa-Akuffo Addo-led NPP government had impacted positively and transformed the lives of many families across the country. 

The Regional Chair said the recent launch of District Road Improvement Project (DRIP), the biggest investment in the roads sector the country had ever witnessed since Independence should be considered when casting their votes in the December polls. 

Mr. Dapaah said, “though Chiefs do not involve themselves in politics, but the truth needs to be told.” 

On Oti Region, he said, the construction of 66.4 km Jasikan-Dodo Pepesu asphalt road, Agenda 111 Hospital projects at Kadjebi, Jasikan, Chinderi, Kpassah, among other projects was enough for the eligible voters in the Region to vote Dr. Bawumia as President. 

He also appealed to the voters in the Kadjebi District to vote Lawyer Mustapha Tassah, the Akan NPP PC as Member of Parliament (MP) to continue the works the late Alhaji Rashid Bawa, his predecessor started. 

He was accompanied to the Nana Akompi Finam’s Palace by Mr. Wilson Kwami Agbanyo, Kadjebi District Chief Executive, Lawyer Mustapha Tassah, Akan NPP PC, Mr. Awal Rabiu, Akan NPP Constituency Chairman, Madam Abena Nyande, Women Organiser, NPP Akan, Mrs. Kafui Kwadade-Cardigah, the Constituency Treasurer, Akan NPP, Madam Justine Abena Okyerewaa- Okyere, first Vice-Chairman, Akan NPP, among others.
