Takoradi, Aug 29, GNA-The Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party for Effia Constituency, Mr Isaac Yaw Boamah-Nyarko, has pledged to work tirelessly to make the seat a stronghold for the party in the 2024 general elections.
Since his election as the PC for the area on the ticket of the party, Mr Boamah had initiated many projects to the benefit of the constituents.
So far, he had provided jobs for about 80 youths and given over GHS100,000 interest-free loans to Effia-Kuma No.9 Market Women.
Other projects included the construction of a Mechanised Borehole at East and West Tanokrom and the provision of a Mathematical set and other educational materials to all 1074 BECE Candidates in Effia Constituency.
The PC had over the period organised sanitation exercises in all the Electoral Areas in the Constituency, paid Mock fees for all JHS Final Year Students in the Constituency and supported the building of a Mosque at Takoradi Technical University and refurbishment of the Junior Common Room.
The PC also financially assisted Nzema Hall, Ahanta Hall, and Prof Duncan Hall to cater for their pressing needs.
The Donation of Air Condition to Ustaz Ahmed Mosque in East Tanokrom and Nzemah Hall.
He also supported teams competing in the Western Regional Middle League and supplied science kits to Connect FM Western Best Brain Challenge.
Mr Boamah-Nyarko has also embarked on many health screenings in 11 locations in the Constituency to improve upon the health of the constituents.
The new face for the NPP who takes over from Mr Cudjoe, the Minister for Public Enterprises had his primary education at the Naval base school at Takoradi Harbour Area in 1985 and completed in 1989 and had his secondary education at Adisadel College in 1994 at Cape Coast.
He had his A-level at Prempeh College in 1996 and in 2002, he attained his Bachelor of Arts (BSc Hons) in Integrated Development Studies at the University for Development Studies, Tamale in Ghana.
He then gained admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) for the MSC Development Planning and Management.
In the year 2012, He had the opportunity to continue his studies: the Bachelor of Law (LLB) at the University of London, United Kingdom.
Mr Boamah became a Barrister at law in 2015.
He has good knowledge of Tax Administration and is a Management planner with over 18 years of varied experience as well as strong technical, analytical, and supervisory skills.
