Nyensi Camp (E/R), Aug. 21, GNA – The Good News Mission branch in Ghana has partnered with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture to host the 2024 National Youth Conference in Accra.
The event is under the auspices of the International Youth Fellowship (IYF), an International Non- non-governmental organisation, on the theme, “Reformed Youth, Reformed Ghana.”
The conference aims to empower and unite young people from across the country, providing a platform for them to share ideas, learn from one another, and work together towards a brighter future.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Reverend Divine Agbo, the IYF Coordinator in the Okere District explained that the programme was targeting over 3,000 youth across the world.
He said the forum was also to help raise leaders with a global insight through youth education, and social activities and provide realistic solutions to problems in the global village.
Rev. Agbo expressed hope that the event would help train the youth in mind education, empowering them to develop strong minds, think critically, and challenge conventional wisdom.
He explained that the National Youth Conference has been organised annually with the aim of fostering the youth with strong hearts through leadership training that would be possessed by the next generation.
The participants would learn the IYF spirit that would enable them to communicate and unite with each other beyond language and culture.
Further, it would provide job training in areas such as soap making, disinfectants, liquid soaps and parazone, and interested students who attended the previous programmes would have the opportunity to be trained again in electrical engineering at Tema.
He therefore urged the youth to get registered in the summit to enable them to develop qualities as true leaders in the global era.
