Kamgbunli (W/R), Aug. 23, GNA – The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle, Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has commiserated with the Muslim community at Kamgbunli in the Ellembelle District of the Western on the demise of their sub-chief, Nana Odikro Abekah Musah.

Mr Buah, also the Deputy Minority Leader in Parliament, described the late sub-chief as a great leader who selflessly dedicated himself to championing the development and unity of his people.

“His untimely departure leaves a profound void in the community and the district at large,” the MP said.

Mr Buah donated GHC40,000 to support the roofing of the community school block and requested that the school be named after the departed chief in honour of his service and leadership.

He prayed for God to strengthen the people of Kamgbunli during this difficult period.

The late Odikro Abekah Musah has since been buried at Kamgbunli in line with Muslim traditions.
