By Elizabeth Larkwor Baah

Ada, Aug.7, GNA – Ms Sarah Dugbakie Pobee, Ada East District Chief Executive  (DCE), has appealed to the people of Ada to consider the contributions of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) to Ghana’s development, and help the party to ‘break the eight.’

Ms Pobee made the appeal during the 87th Asafotufiami festival durbar, saying that the party’s contribution over the few years had been massive and the evidence was there to prove it.

She said the contribution spread across health, security, education, agriculture  road, supply of water, noting that many CHPS compound and schools were built and some revamped with the provision of the needed logistics for the smooth running of the schools across the district.

She further said that the contribution of the party in the health sector led to  the Ada East District Heath Directorate, emerging second best performing district out  of 29 districts on the Greater Accra Regional Health League Table under the  2023-year review.

Touching on the local economy, Ms Pobee said the Kasseh market had seen a   face-lift with stores, over 220 shelves, fencing, and a filling station built at Alabanyo for premix users, adding that more projects were ongoing.

She mentioned the establishment of a business resource centre to help boost  the local economy in diverse ways, saying that deteriorated roads had been worked on in addition some newly constructed ones in Ada Foah and other places.

The DCE stated that Ghanaians must compare the works of each party and make an informed decision before going to the polls.
