Accra, May 12, GNA – It was an eruption of cheers when some of Ghana’s finest artistes climbed the stage to perform at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Xperience concert in Cape Coast.
Ahead of the main TGMA awards gala on June 1, 2024, thousands of fans who trooped to the Robert Mensah Stadium for the Xperience concert were thrilled with some amazing performances despite the battering of the rain that preceded the concert.
Multiple award-winning Reggae/Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy was one of the top performers on the night, having delivered some memorable renditions of some of his hits.
It was an electric live-performance from the BET award-winning artiste who did not only sing for the fans but also showcased his intriguing dance moves.
King Paluta, who had been nominated for Best New Artiste of the Year, demonstrated why he was one of the hottest musicians in the year under review when he performed on stage.
The cheers were loud for the music sensation, especially when he performed his chart-topping hit song “Aseda” in front of the thousands.
King Paluta performed with passion, with fans mimicking the lyrics of his songs verbatim, and certainly stole the show on the night.
Kofi Kinaata, who has won Songwriter of the Year on multiple occasions, also delivered a masterclass performance during his turn on stage.
The Takoradi-based artiste thrilled the audience with some of his timeless hit singles, including “Confession,” “Thy Grace,” and some songs on his newly released “Kofi oo Kofi” Extended Play.
The night also witnessed some outstanding performances from renowned gospel musician Nacee as well as Afrobeats diva Adina and some new music sensations Olivetheboy, Kwesi Amewuga, and Alapta Wan.
