Accra, Dec. 29, GNA- Madam Bozoma Saint John, Curator of the Badass workshop, has urged attendees to reconsider their own accountability and newness for personal growth and confidence building.
She said sometimes people seek help from various sources to grow, but it was time they got inspired and reconsidered their own potential to develop.
Madam Saint John was speaking at the Badass workshop held in Accra, to build the confidence of participants and develop strategies for personal and professional growth in the coming year.
The workshop sought to teach participants to toot their own horns, drawing from her own experiences as one of the successful business people globally.
She said though urgency was vital, sometimes individuals thought it was about how fast things were approaching, stating that, “you have to be intentional about your urgency, it does not matter if it takes you three years to do something.”
“I am hoping that we will get some success stories coming out of this session, so let us all stay tuned for them,” she added.
Madam Saint John advised participants whose “life was hitting harder” to be self-responsible, listen to themselves and understand themselves better because oftentimes answers to such crises were found within them.
Nana Nyantakyiwaa, a participant in the Badass workshop, said normally individuals want to make progress in life when they are in a presently bad position, which she said ought not to be so.
She advised that a person could be at a comfortable status or position in life but to elevate, they needed to make a conscious decision by looking at their surroundings to know what they found themselves doing at that moment, and then elevate to a higher status.
