Dr Chris Agyemang awarded for contribution to malaria treatment

Accra, Dec. 05, GNA – President of Taabea Group, Dr Chris Kwasi Agyemang, has been named “Man of the Year” at the Home Builders Africa Awards (HOBAA 2022), for his contribution to the study and development of organic medicines for the treatment of malaria in Ghana and the world.

The entrepreneur and philanthropist received the topmost honour at the maiden edition of the Awards which was held Saturday, November 26, at Ohene Konadu Auditorium, University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA),

“My first concern is taking care of the people; I’m grateful to all who have helped to spread our name throughout West Africa and the rest of the world”, Dr Agyemang said after of the awards.

The Home Builders Africa Awards was organised by Build Forward Africa, a research, marketing, and advocacy firm in cooperation with AfCFTA’s Young Entrepreneurs Federation (AfYEF).

The pulsating event, co-hosted Angel FM’s Nana Yaa Brefo and JoyPrime’s KJM, also gave recognition to other businesses as well as individuals in the construction, health and educational sectors.

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stopover JRA Enterprise, Madam Jane Reason Akushika Ahadzi, won the Super Woman of the Year award.

Other winners included: CIMAF Cement Gh as Best environmental friendly company, Nelplast Eco Ghana Ltd as Best Waste Converter and Eco-Friendly Company; and Metropolitan Insurance Co Ltd., as Best Health and Life Insurer.
