Sofia, Nov 17 (BTA/GNA) – Bulgarian President Rumen Radev awarded a presidential badge of honour to prominent Bulgarian athletes for their exceptional merits and contribution to the development of Bulgarian sport and on the occasion of their anniversaries.
A presidential badge of honour was presented to: Olympic shooting champion Maria Grozdeva, Olympic wrestling champions Petar Kirov and Boyan Radev, Olympic silver medallist in gymnastics Krasimir Dunev, volleyball legend Tsvetana Bozhurina, and Bulgarian Olympic Committee Secretary General Belcho Goranov.
President Radev urged people to practise sports, to live in an environmentally friendly way and called for patriotic education of children from an early age.
