Accra, Nov 5, GNA – Hundreds of Ghanaians converged at the Obra Spot, Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra, Saturday morning to partake in a demonstration dubbed “KumePreko”.
The demonstration, according to its organisers, is to register their displeasure over prevailing economic hardships.
Martin Kpebu, the Lead Organiser for the “KumePreko” demo has hinted of their intent to petition the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) and Parliament over a possible impeachment of the President.
The “Kume Preko” demo is to, also, demand the resignation of the leadership of Government.
Protestors who are on a march through some principal streets in the Capital, such as 28th February road, through to Farisco junction and Liberia road are expected to finally converged at the Independence Square.
