Prague, Aug 19, (dpa/GNA) – The United States is to hand over eight used military helicopters to its NATO ally Czech Republic, as per an agreement from April, Czech Defence Minister Jana Cernochova, said on state television channel CT.
The US embassy in Prague, confirmed the announcement on Twitter.
Officially, the government in Prague does not comment on details of arms deliveries to Ukraine.
It previously however, announced that it would buy 12 new US-built helicopters. These would replace, among other things, older Soviet-design helicopters, which according to media reports, have been handed over to Ukraine.
