Accra, Aug. 1, GNA- StarLife Assurance, a leading insurance company in its bid to make insurance benefits easily accessible to Ghanaians, has introduced a mobile application and a new Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) code.
With the short code, *7373#, and the MyStar app, clients will now be able to check the status of their policies, pay premiums, apply for claims, partial withdrawals, refunds and locate branches nationwide.
Customers can also buy airtime, data and pay utility bills with guaranteed convenience and improved security.
Mrs. Kakra-Duffuor Nyarko, the Chief Executive Officer of StarLife Assurance, said in a press release issued to the Ghana News Agency that providing and improving digital solutions had over the years proven vital to business processes and had brought insurance closer to their growing client base.
“StarLife understands that clients need to have easy access to their policies in real-time. Therefore, we have been working towards providing solutions that address this need to enable us to achieve our goal of excellent customer experience with us,” she said.
She said that the entity was committed to complementing the efforts of government and industry regulators to achieve financial inclusion for Ghanaians through innovation.
The introduction of a Mobile App and USSD code, she explained, was to reinforce the entity’s brand reputation for strong customer service, innovation and a commitment to partnership with clients for life.
She added: “We ensure that clients are kept up-to-date with their policies and also encourage them to take on new policies that will protect them against unfortunate future occurrences as their circumstances change during their lifetime.”
