KASEC receives some food supply

Kadjebi (O/R), July 14, GNA – Mr Francis Bodzona, the Assistant Headmaster, Administration of the Kadjebi-Asato Senior High School (KASEC), says the school has received some bags of rice.

He said although the supplies were inadequate, they were managing it with the hope that more supply would come.

Mr Bodzona disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on visit to the school at Kadjebi in the Oti Region.

On academic work, he said, the Form Three students were currently writing their mock examination, while Form Two’s are also writing their second semester examination.

The new semester is expected to start on Monday, July 17, 2022.

Mr. Bodzona, who conducted the News team round some examination centres, where the students were busily writing their exams and being invigilated by the form three students and National Service Personnel.

He said the final year students would start the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) on August 1, 2022.

The Assistant Headmaster also appealed to the government to provide them with additional classroom blocks and furniture to help solve the infrastructure deficit.

Senior High Schools across the country are on the verge of being shut down as the shortage of food supplies worsens.
