Accra, July 27, GNA- Ghanaian Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oak has terminated contracts with striker Kofi Kordzi and Ansah Botchway on a mutual agreement.
The two were solid for the club at the beginning of the 2021/2022 season but were unhappy due to some challenges they encountered.
Kordzi would leave Accra Hearts of Oak as a free agent having joined the club on a two-year deal last season, bagging seven goals in 22 appearances for the side.
A statement released by the club said the two players were surplus to their requirement therefore the need to bid them farewell.
According to the club, negotiations were still ongoing to finally terminate the contracts of these two.
It also announced the club’s decision not to extend the contracts of Patrick Razak, William Dankyi, Larry Sumaila Ibrahim and Manaf Umar.
