Accra, July 12, GNA – A total of 42 students have graduated with distinction from the Canadian Independent College (CIC) Ghana, a North American Day and Boarding School, on Friday July 1, 2022, at the school’s 16th graduation ceremony in Accra.
The 2022 graduating class achieved acceptance into top class universities; with about 70 per cent of them going to Canada for their University programmes and the remaining going to the U.S.A, Europe, and other universities to complete their post-secondary education.
They would be majoring in Accounting, Arts, Artificial Intelligence, Architecture, Business, Computer Science, Design, Economics, Engineering, Medicine, Law, Nursing, and Life Sciences.
The class of 2022 had more than 80 per cent of graduates receiving the ‘Ontario Scholar’ Award.
The event was attended by high profile personalities, families of the graduates, and staff of the school.
CIC Ghana, established in 2008, is the first Canadian High School in sub-Sahara Africa.
The College offers Nursery, Pre-school, Kindergarten, Primary School, Middle School, High School, Pre-University and University Placement.
Students who complete CIC Ghana are sure to attain the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) which is recognised all around the world.
