Accra, June 13, GNA – Akim Oda based Kotoku Royals have secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League (GPL) despite their goalless stalemate against Tema Youth at the Tema Sports Stadium.
Their qualification was confirmed after Liberty Professionals failed to secure maximum points against Susubribi United, who held their counterparts to a goalless draw game.
Kotoku Royals maintain the top spot in Zone three with 63 points, while Liberty Professionals have 62 points. Tema Youth placed third in the zone points with 60 points.
Kotoku Royals become the 100th club to play in Ghana’s elite division, having begun their journey to qualification back in 2005.
