Accra, June 03, GNA — The Dr Hilla Limann Foundation, in partnership with Gold Coast Medical Foundation, has organised a health screening for some residents of Nima, a densely populated suburb of Accra.
The event is one of the medical outreaches by the Foundations to support the health needs of Ghanaians.
It formed part of the Hilla Limann Foundation’s annual health screening exercise.
Two of the children of the former President of the Third Republic, Dr. Zilla Limann and Salma Limann, were present to support the event.
Dr. Zilla Limann, a Board Member of the Foundation in an address, said the exercise was in line with the Foundation’s commitment to extend health delivery to the doorstep of the poor.
She said the Foundation strategically chose Nima because the area lacked adequate health facilities.
Gold Coast Medical Foundation is a United States of America-based non-profit making organisation, with Medical Doctors and Nurses specialised in extending health delivery to the third world.
