MoYS confirms African Origin Travels and Tour as sole ticketing, hospitality agent for Commonwealth Games, U-20 World Cup

Accra, May 25, GNA – The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) has confirmed African Origin Travel and Sports Tourism as Ghana’s sole ticketing and hospitality agent for the upcoming Commonwealth Games billed for July 28 to August 8, in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

It has also appointed the ticketing and hospitality entity as the authorized agent for Ghana’s participation in the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.

Before this announcement, the experienced travel and tourism Agency had visited Birmingham ahead of schedule and has already announced initial plans and packages to cater for fans.

  In January this year, the African Origin supervised the organization and travels of Black Stars, key Ghana Football Association officials, and fans to the Africa Cup of Nations Cup held in Cameroon. 

Ghana will participate in disciplines, including Boxing, Athletics, Badminton at the Commonwealth Games.

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup also comes off from 10-28 August with 16 countries.

Ghana’s Black Princesses would make a sixth appearance with the aim to progress to round 16 stage for the first time.

Ghana is housed in Group D alongside USA, The Netherlands and Japan.
