GFA maintains technical quartet for 2022 FIFA World Cup

Accra, May 24, GNA – The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has retained the four coaches that masterminded the qualification of the Black Stars to the 2022 Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) World Cup in Qatar, later in the year.

A statement from the GFA said Coach Otto Addo would remain at the top of affairs, with assistance from George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.

Coach Chris Hughton would also retain his role as the Technical Advisor.

The statement said the decision was arrived at, after thorough consultation with all stakeholders.

The technical team would soon announce their team for their first major assignment against Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The four coaches are expected to lead Ghana through the AFCON qualifiers and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, later in the year, after beating and overcoming Nigeria on technical grounds.
