Accra, April 21, GNA – Various offices at the Ministries area in Accra were virtually empty as majority of staff embarked on a strike on Thursday
The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) has embarked on industrial strike due to Government’s delay in paying the non-implementation of neutrality allowances due its members.
Neutrality allowance is a percentage of civil servants’ basic salary paid as a compensation for the workers to stay neutral in political issues.
A visit by the Ghana News Agency observed few staff with most of the offices closed.
