Berlin, March 21, (dpa/GNA) – Eight people died during the shelling of several buildings and a shopping centre in the Ukrainian capital Kiev overnight, according to the prosecutor general’s office.
Russian troops used rockets on the building, the office said. This could not be independently verified.
Pictures and videos from the site on the north-western outskirts of the city showed destruction.
According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, six residential buildings, two schools and a kindergarten were also damaged.
