Moscow, March 21, (dpa/GNA) – The conditions for the leaders of Russia and Ukraine to meet to discuss an end to Russia’s invasion, have not yet been met, says the Kremlin.
“They just don’t have anything tangible, no agreement that you can hold on to,” said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, in comments reported by the Interfax news agency.
He said more “dynamism” was needed from the Ukrainian side before the outlines of an agreement could be negotiated, which would make it worth the time to have a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Whoever has any influence on Kiev should use it to make Kiev more open to negotiations and more constructive in these talks,” said Peskov.
