Akatsi (VR), March 1, GNA- Togbui Ladzekpo Tetteh-Gefu IV, the Chief of Horti in the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta Region, has presented electrical items to two Community-Based Health Planning Services (CHPS) compounds.
The beneficiary CHPS compounds were the Atsiekpi CHPS zone at Atsiekpi and the Cuniberto Clinic and Maternity Home at Lume Avete.
The items, which included LED flat-type television sets and ceiling fans, were fully financed by the Chief, who is also a businessman.
The move, he said, was part of the social responsibility agenda towards contributing to quality healthcare delivery in the Municipality.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency after the presentations, Togbui Ladzekpo Tetteh-Gefu urged the health workers at the two facilities to let the gesture be a source of motivation for them.
He charged them to put in their best to ensure adequate quality health delivery in the communities.
Receiving the items on behalf of Cuniberto Clinic, Mr Tumaru Raphael, Administrator of the Centre, thanked the Chief for his strong commitment to addressing the health challenges in the Municipality.
Mr Tumaru said the items would go a long way to promote health delivery at the beneficiary CHPS compounds.
