Let’s appreciate God’s peace in Ghana

Accra, Jan. 30, GNA — The Apostle Prophet Francis Kwadwo Owusu of the Anointing Prayer and Evangelistic Ministry (APEM) in Tema has asked Ghanaians to learn to appreciate God for the peace and security in the country.

“Do not thank God simply because your family is rich. That doesn’t make you better than those who are poor and are mourning. The peace and security in Ghana must be the most important reasons to thank God,” he said.

Apostle Prophet Owusu said this in a sermon on Sunday to celebrate and thank
God for His goodness to the country.

He said though Ghanaians were in grief over the Appiatse Explosion, which killed 14 persons and injured 179, it was still important that the citizens showed appreciation to God for everything.

“I am very sad about the tragic incident at Appiatse. Our condolences to the families and everyone. Though it is a difficult time, let’s give thanks to God because His word says we should thank Him in every situation.”

He encouraged the populace, especially, Christians to support the victims and those affected in the explosion.

Apostle Owusu said peace was the prerequisite for development and urged the citizenry to continually be thankful to God for the peace in Ghana and endeavour to live peacefully with all.
