Sefwi-Wiawso(WN/R), December 16, GNA – One thousand five hundred and fifty-five pupils from 68 public schools have sat for the maiden National Standardized Test in nine centres in the Akontombra District of the Western North Region.
According to Mr Thomas Kwofie, the Akontombra District Director of Education, nine supervisors and five assistants assisted in the conduct of the examination.
Mr Kwofie said the Education Directorate put in place adequate measures to ensure a successful conduct of the Test.
He, however, indicated that 17 out of the 68 schools initialy faced challenges in reaching the centers but his outfit liaised with the Akontombra District assembly to assist in transporting the pupils to centers.
