Kasoa, Dec. 26, GNA— Mr Prince Twum Darko, the Presiding Elder of the Christ Apostolic Church, Kakraba Central, has admonished Ghanaians to celebrate Christmas in moderation and within the prescribed COVID-19 protocols.
That, he said, was necessary to check the increasing COVID-19 cases with its attendant fatalities.
“As we celebrate Christmas, make sure you obey the protocols instituted by the government so that we can all be safe because if we don’t celebrate in safety, we might not see each other next year,” he cautioned.
Mr Darko further urged Christians to stay away from activities that did not glorify Jesus Christ and the Church, stressing that, the essence of the season was to celebrate the goodness of God.
“Remember that as Christians, we don’t do anything that is outside the good books.
“Christ has given us the opportunity to celebrate, but we should know our boundaries so that we can keep the significance of Christmas as Christians,” he stated.
