SIC Insurance commends Krif Ghana Limited

Tema, Nov. 14, GNA – Mrs Cynthia Kwarteng Tufuor, Tema Area Manager, SIC Insurance PLC, has commended KRIF Ghana Limited, dealers in sales and distribution of money handling machines, office equipment and stationery for its key interest in giving back to society.

According to her the act by the company to roll-out a campaign to donate 52 Free fire, water and burglar proof ‘Diplomat Reinforced Office Cabinet’ Safe to 52 corporate institutions and private sector entities must be highly commended.

Mrs Tufuor was speaking at the official launch of a grand corporate social responsibility initiative by Krif Ghana Limited in collaboration with the Tema Regional Office of the Ghana News Agency to donate 52 Free Office Safe to 52 Corporate institutions within 52 weeks at the Tema GNA premises.

She said Krif Ghana’s low discount promotions of loyalty and kindness over the years has won so many hearts and made the company’s name a household one, hence embarking on yet another huge project of such calibre needs an applause.

“It is an act that is highly commendable and we salute the management for such an initiative,” she added.

She noted that, the beneficiaries of these 52 safes donation project would get all their properties, documents and valuables protected from unforeseen circumstances, thus would be forever grateful to Krif Ghana Limited.

Mrs Tufuor, who also has an oversight responsibility over parts of Volta and Eastern Regions, explained that sustainable companies were those that identifies and detect the future need of a society and adjust their business priorities to meet the new needs of the dynamic and overcharging of society.

“Krif Ghana has distinguished itself as a market leader in its activities by showing great concerns in the environmental needs towards changing the environment,” she said.

She reiterated that, the traditional goal of a company was to make profit and reward shareholders, however in recent time, for a business concerns to be sustainable, there must be a deliberate and structural plan by indulging in corporate social responsibilities thus organizations advancing from doing good to doing well.

She added that the community investment activity by Krif Ghana Limited was one which must be emulated by others since it had shared value to business societies and Ghana as a whole.

In an exhibition session during the official launch, Reverend Kennedy Okosun, the Executive Chairman of Krif Ghana Limited explained the importance for business and government organizations to get upgraded as a bid to meet the challenges of modern businesses and offices.

He noted that, the initiative was to support the work of deserving public and private institutions as well as show appreciation to the Ghanaian public for keeping faith with Krif Ghana, adding that, “this is not a raffle or game of chance, Krif Ghana wants to support institutions and corporate bodies”.

Rev. Okosun indicated that, the project was designed to ensure that as many important offices as possible were served with the Company’s Diplomat Safes to facilitate the safety of important documents, medical sample reports and medical supplies in health care facilities, and many others.

Mr Francis Ameyibor, Tema Regional Manager of the Ghana News Agency, noted that in a corporate world, documents generated over a period of time serves as an organizational tradition, which without proper storage the corporate entity would be doomed, hence the need by GNA-Tema Office to consider the gesture as a fulfilment of divine mandate by Krif Ghana Limited.

The Reverend Emmanuel Kwesi Ofori, a Senior Pastor Central Assemblies of God Church Community 4, Tema who is also the Chairman of the Education Committee of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly who chaired the event, commended both Krif Ghana Limited for the gesture to give back to society.

Rev. Ofori who is also a Government Appointee representing Faith Based Organizations at the Tema Metropolitan Assembly, also commended the Ghana News Agency Tema Regional office for the innovative initiatives and also teaming up with Krif Ghana for the launch, and stressed that the media must support the corporate world.
